PTFE Coating

PTFE coatings (Polytetrafluoroethylene) are non-stick, fluoropolymer, high temp coatings. They have a one-coat system or a two-coat system of a primer and topcoat and have several features that make them appropriate for transporting chemical and oil. Its strong carbon-fluorine bonds adds non-reactive properties to the coating that allows it to hold against volatile and corrosive chemicals. The versatility of the PTFE coatings allow almost unlimited application to a wide variety of part sizes and configurations. This specific type of coating has the highest operating temperature of all fluoropolymers at 500°F, a low coefficient of friction, as well as good chemical resistance and abrasion resistance.

PTFE Coating performed at Hind Metal combine heat resistance with almost total chemical inertness, excellent dielectric stability, and a low coefficient of friction. Chemically inert and solvent resistant coating having unique electrical properties, PTFE coating is an excellent choice for linings in pumps, pipe, tanks, valves, agitators, and a variety of vessels.
